As Art Director for this tween-focused, nationally distributed, bimonthly publication, I was responsible for choosing palettes and themes, as well as laying out the 48-page magazine, cover-to-cover. Each issue included hundreds of photographs and stock images, as well as original illustrations. I also provided editorial support as needed.

Design and Creative Direction
As Creative Director for this Colorado publishing group, I created travel and dining guides published annually for Estes Park and Grand County, Colorado and Moab, Utah. I oversaw and provided creative direction for all photoshoots, as well as graphic design, cover designs and ad designs. Books ranged in size from 64-172 pages.
Book Design and self-publishing support
Book and magazine design are my passion. I am well-versed in industry standards for all varieties of books, including memoirs, technical manuals, coffee table books, short and long fiction, children’s literature, and self-help books. I have an eye for detail and can assist with all parts of the self-publishing journey, including editing services, stock selection, cover design and file preparation.
Boulder Public Bus
Wrap Designs
Boulder, Colorado has long been known for its counter-culture, bohemian vibe. In the late 80s and early 90s, a fleet of public transportation buses was introduced with brightly-colored, eye-catching designs. In 2015, new, 40’ buses were ordered to replace the older, 30’ buses that had been in circulation for 20 plus years. I was contacted by Boulder County Department of Transportation to design new vehicle wraps for five buses: The Dash, The Bound, The Jump, The Stampede and The Skip. After a lengthy design charette, involving Department of Transportation executives, RTD officials and employees of the University of Colorado transportation department, it was decided we would use the existing bus designs as a jumping-off point, but design completely new artwork for all the buses. The project was begun in October of 2015 and the buses were wrapped and put into rotation in late summer of 2017.
