About me
I knew I had found my calling when I joined the production team for a small Boulder printing company twenty years ago. I dedicated myself to learning everything I could about what makes good design and how to build a perfect, print-ready file. At first I took any client who would have me, which allowed me to learn and grow through trial and error. Twenty years later, I have completed creative projects for a vast range of clients, large and small. My favorite projects are the ones in which I help launch a small business and can create an identity, signage, advertising and a website, soup to nuts.
From 2011-2015, I had the incredible good fortune to serve as Art Director of BYOU Magazine, a nationally distributed magazine targeted to tween girls. I was essentially a one-woman design team, with occasional help from the odd intern. I became adept at laying out the entire 48-page magazine myself under very tight deadlines and I thrived under those conditions.
I have continued to develop logos and branding, merchandise, marketing materials, advertising, websites and other creative projects for clients ranging from a renewable energy company, to restaurants, craft distilleries, real estate developers and public transportation providers. I’m always looking forward to see what my next creative adventure will be.
